Josh is an Indy native, but spent most of his adolescense on the West coast. Josh returned to Indianapolis & began his 15 year career in 2008 by training at the Aveda Fredric’s Institute. While there, his passion and dedication for spreading total wellness lead him to an early graduation with honors. Just three days after completing his training at AFI, Josh joined the team of a Salon Today Top 200 salon. 

    After three years of advanced training and honing his craft alongside leading industry professionals, Josh took the next step in his career. In 2011, he completed an intensive program to become a Certified National Educator through Professional Salon Concepts representing the Davines lifestyle brand. Recognizing a growing demand for a more balanced approach to health and well being, Josh worked with PSC leadership and fellow educators to develop a new class format. The class, entitled Holistic Care for Scalp and Hair, shows how our industry and this new found focus on total well being tie together. He believes strongly in the mantra ‘a student for life,’ and has attended advanced education with some of the Industry’s top talent.

    As the Creative Director, Josh works alongside Maggie & the rest of the Experience team to ensure the very thing that the salon stakes its reputation on: an amazing and consistent guest [experience]. Some of his specialties include Men’s hair design, creating structured and classic shapes, dimensional hair color techniques, and targeted hair treatments.

Josh currently resides on Indianapolis’ South side with his partner Tim, two dogs Finn & Harley, and their pet axolotl Reptar.
